This is one of Jacque’s largest paintings. A wide golden sky stretches over open water, and right in the center, small against all that space, Jesus walks out ahead.
The water could feel overwhelming, but it doesn’t. He is already out there, steady and unhurried. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you.
