Security

Last updated: October 31, 2026

This page explains how the site protects what you send us, how payments work, and how to tell a genuine request from Miracle Worker from someone pretending to be us.

How the site is protected

  • Encrypted connection. Every page loads over HTTPS (the padlock in your browser), and browsers are told never to use an unencrypted connection to this site. Anything you type into a form is encrypted on its way to us.
  • No accounts or passwords. There is nothing to log in to, so there are no passwords here to steal.
  • A simple, static site. Pages are prebuilt files with no database behind them, which leaves very little to attack. We also send standard security instructions to browsers, for example to stop the site being embedded inside someone else’s page.
  • Spam filtering. Form submissions are filtered for spam and bots before they reach us.

Payments never touch this site

Card payments, when offered, are made on Stripe’s secure checkout page, and Venmo payments in the Venmo app. Your card number is never entered on, sent to, or stored by miracleworker.life. Stripe is certified to the highest level of the payment card industry’s security standard (PCI DSS Level 1).

What we will never do

People sometimes pretend to be artists or buyers to take money. Miracle Worker will never:

  • ask for your card number, bank details or passwords by email, text, phone or a form on this site;
  • send you a check and ask you to pay part of it back, or pay a “shipping agent” (originals are picked up or delivered locally in the Phoenix area, and we don’t ship yet);
  • ask you to pay with prepaid or store cards, cryptocurrency or a wire transfer.

Genuine messages come from jacque@miracleworker.life. Venmo payments go only to @jacque-konkowski. If something does not look right, do not pay. Email us first and we will confirm.

Please keep sensitive details out of forms

The forms are for telling us about the painting you would like. Please do not include card numbers, Social Security numbers or other sensitive details in a form or email.
